Dysglycemia - Novel Biomarkers for Diagnosis and Monitoring Prognosis

In this webinar, we will explore recent advancements in novel biomarkers that may serve as cost-effective alternatives for screening and early diagnosis of dysglycemia.

In addition to this, we will provide a concise overview of glycated proteins used as markers for dysglycemia, discussing their measurement techniques, the interpretative challenges associated with each marker, and how they compare to hemoglobin A1c.

Finally, we will examine the use of the 1-hour glucose challenge test as a diagnostic tool for identifying conditions beyond gestational diabetes, as well as its effectiveness in diagnosing diabetes and its complications related to glucose metabolism.
