Dr Tran Thi Chi Mai graduated as medical doctor and then specialised in chemical pathology at Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam. She currently works as a lecturer in Hanoi Medical University, and also as a clinical biochemist at Department of Biochemstry, National Children’s Hospital, Vietnam. Her main research interests now focus on laboratory quality management and special laboratory techniques used for screening, diagnosing and monitoring the inborn errors of metabolism.
