Dr Prasenjit Mitra is an Assistant Professor (Biochemistry) at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. He is a member of the IFCC-Committee on Clinical Laboratory Management (C-CLM), the IFCC-Taskforce on Global eLearning (TF-GEL), the Laboratory Management Committee, Asia Pacific Federation of Clinical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine (APFCB). He is a trained International Lead Assessor (AERSSC) and a certified Lean Six Sigma Expert. He is the section editor (pathology) of the European Journal of Medical Research and has over 50 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals. His academic interests include laboratory management, toxicology, and molecular psychiatry.
