Medical Technologist with speciality in Clinical Laboratory, Hematology and Blood Bank. Master in Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology, PhD in Physiology and PhDin Biomedicine. His line of research has focused on understanding the pathophysiological bases of gestational diabetes mellitus, as well as on the early prediction of this disease. He has developed various research projects in Chile, with more than 30 publications in the area.
