Dr. Gómez de León has specialized in proteomics, microscopy, and bioinformatics techniques. During her postdoc, focused on breast cancer and environmental contaminant’s effects, she performed in silico identificatin of proteins using the PDQuest software, 2D SDS-PAGE data base and other bioinformatic tools. Currently at Federico Gómez Children's Hospital of Mexico, her research is focusing in leukemia, autoimmunity, and allergies. Aims to integrate leukemia immunophenotype data into EuroFlow database. Dr. Gómez de León is a member of National System of Researchers (SNI I), she has published 11 articles, 8 book chapters, and has active participation in national and international congresses.
