Dr Anne J. Vassault, Ph. D, MSc, is currently CEO of ASQUALAB one of the important Association for External Quality Assessment. Formerly, she served as Medical Biologist at the Biochemistry department, University Hospital Necker-Enfants-Malades, Paris Cite. She was chairing the university hospital committee for accreditation which is mandatory in France. Active member of the French Society of Clinical Biology (SFBC) as Chair of the committee for method validation, she is member of the SFBC international committee. At the international level, she is member of the ISO TC 212 Working Group 1 (Quality and Competence in the Medical Laboratory) in charge of the fourth version of ISO 15189, recently published (2022). She served as member of the IFCC Committee on Analytical Quality (IFCC-CAQ) from 2010 to 2014 and is currently member of the IFCC Task Force for Global Laboratory Quality (IFCC TF GLQ).
