Aleksandra Zeljkovic acquired her PhD in 2011 at the University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy. She obtained a specialist degree in medical biochemistry, as well as sub-specialist degree in laboratory endocrinology. Since 2022, she has been holding the position of a full professor at the Department of Medical Biochemistry-Faculty of Pharmacy. Her main research interest is related to investigations of lipoprotein metabolism. Since 2007, she has been participating as a collaborator in national and international scientific projects and is currently engaged in a project dedicated to the research of HDL-ome changes in pregnancy. She published more than 80 scientific papers.
